It was long season. First time in history we divided EHL on two leagues - EHL Elite and EHL Divisoin 1. With that separarion we start new generation of tournaments and open new count from that events.
Great moment that in Elite absolutely all games were played and it's also first time. "Nordic Blizzard" did big work on their game, they have magnificent roster. Regular part was under their domination and three round of Dynasty Cup also. But final with "The United Knights". It was Final from big "F". Lot of sweat and gray hairs brought to teams. "Nordic Blizzard" won it! Only in 7th game. And now you are Champinons!

Other league - Division 1 - unfortunatelly had lot of usual problems, like split of the new teams, not coming on games, and so on. But we saw there teams, who shows respect to game and each other, and I'm happy about that. Now we have plans to open Division 2 on next season, and bring to Division 1 invitation system like it was at Elite. So we will can separate guys with bad reputation.
Winners of Division 1 and Vista Cup owner are "We Kings". They also were stronger during whole event. We expected big final, but "Lemondogs" broke up during final series, and this is big disgrace. The least we can do is not include them to awards list, and next time think twice to invite them. But that post is for winners! So I shake you hands, "We Kings"! You are great guys and deserves it, and see you in Elite next season!

With one of the most, if not the most, impressive playoff runs in Consolehockey Network history the incredibly mysterious team Unknown stand as our new reigning champs posting a 15-game winning streak after starting the playoffs 1-0-1-1 versus Tico Tico. They continued onwards by taking down the annual winner Northern Stars and top seed Budcats before completing their 3rd sweep in a row going up against Sjukstugan in the finals, Unknown has shown us all it is possible to troll yourself all the way to the top.
So congrats to our new winners, a pat on the back to Sjukstugan for another tournament completed holding their head high throughout it all and as always - a big thanks to all teams out there who stayed strong and completed the tournament despite facing adversity throughout it all, you guys are the backbone of our community and what makes this all worth the effort.

This past week has been quite chaotic and TGMA apologize for the slow response and blame a combination of little time to spare with tons of comments to go through.
As hell broke lose after Synergy claimed a WO-win in the series vs Laser, quite a few players went over the line when it came to comments and the results of this is the following:
HunajaHuuli and Pelle 3000 of Laser HT is hereby suspended for the upcoming 4 games in the tournament.
Seppooooo and Hansulinho of Laser HT is hereby suspended for the upcoming 2 games in the tournament.
Dunza86 (Laser HT), Maukka123 (Tico Tico) and Mördarelefanten (Synergy) all recieve an official warning for their comments.

After leaving 4 WO wins to their two opponents sunday, Die My Darling has been disqualified from the tournament due to having 2 WO losses previously in the tournament. As they have completed over 50% of their games, all previous results will stand. (TR 5:10 and 11:6). TGMA will make a point deduction for all teams disqualified and falling under TR 11:6 to put them in the bottom of the standings.
We also start nominations for the European Cup '13 awards today. All captains have access to the document needed to nominate players on the GM group on skype. If you would rather have it emailed to you, contact Kooffein on skype or Xbox Live. Deadline for all nominations is midnight GMT on friday 12th april.

After having a player walk out on the team after losing to Laser HT this tuesday, Smoking Blades was forced to give WO victories to Unknown in the two games scheduled later on the same day due to being unable to get a 6th player for the team, and thereby passed the WO limit of Tournament Rules 5:10. As they had played well over 50% of their games in the tournament, all previous results will stand and their opponents have been given WO victories for the series yet to be played, as per TR 11:6.
All players on Smoking Blades will be prohibited to play for another team for the remainder of the tournament and further disciplinary actions will be determined after the tournament has ended.

ViCiieux will be suspended for the rest of the tournament. The reason behind his suspension is that he received two previous suspensions plus a number of warnings of a lengthier suspension if he kept up his behavior of provocations and insults. Its not an easy decision but we feel the community benefits from having a competitive spirit yet respectful approach to fellow members.
Laurilion will be suspended for 6 games for his involvement in the last discussion with Viciieux where his comments where inappropriate coming from a TGMA.
X Bum3r X will be suspended for 2 games for his inappropriate insults in the consolehockey chat box.
Masa66 will be suspended for the rest of the tournament for leaving Baltic Sea Eagles as their 8th member of the roster, putting his former team under the requirement for participation.
Balkan will be suspended for the rest of the tournament after leaving his club Company of Geeks mid game after a player from Tico Tico got disconnected and the game teams quit the game for a restart.
In regards to these suspensions we would like to say that we cherish people's passion for the game and the community, but please do not let that passion become simple insults on other members.
We also want people to READ the rules. If you want to transfer from a team, check out the transfer rules. If there is something unclear…ask your GM or TGMA for guidance. But don't just transfer and think its gonna be okay. You might think it should be okay, but the rules are there for a reason.
We do not suspend people because its fun. This is a tournament which relies on an agreement between its members that we respect each other and follow what we agreed upon. It is TGMA's hope that these will be the last suspensions we hand out.

Unfortunately TGMA are sad to announce the disqualification of Legenderna.
After not showing up for their games on Thursday, they broke TR 5:10.
Since Legenderna played less than 50% of their games all their games will be scratched in accordance with TR 11:5.
All players from Legenderna are prohibited to participate in the rest of the tournament with another team.
Individual sanctions against the GM's will be determined after the tournament.

Due to playing a game with an unregistered player, Men With Stick will receive a WO loss in a game they originally won 4-3 against Sjukstugan. The player had accepted an invite from the team but was not accepted and added to the roster by TGMA until after the game and the initial game report was submitted without him, violating Tournament Rules 5.2. The player was registered on the roster for the teams 2nd game, so that result will stand.

ViCiieux, captain of Men With Sticks will hereby receive his 2nd suspension of the tournament for MWS next 8 games for violation of General Rules 5.2 and 5.5. TGMA also want to refer to General Rules 5.6 and 6.2 for the definition of the violation and determining the length of the suspension. This will be the last chance for the player to get his act straight before being suspended for the rest of the tournament.
Reason for suspension: The player made another attack on the TGMA team, despite being warned previously about doing so again and while we have seen worse attacks in the past, the player tried to hide his identity by posing as someone else but was identified as Viciieux through a matching IP-check, and that is something we take very seriously.

Yesterdays series between Northern Stars and HC Sika has been cancelled by giving each team a WO-win but also a 3 point deduction to nullify the series.
The reason for this is the series was not played yesterday and neither team had made a single time suggestion. We have stressed this before - communicate with each other and TGMA. If you have a problem with a team unwilling to play, contact us and we try to sort it out. A mutually accepted time suggestion is the only way allowed to move a game forward, so make sure you deal with that in good time if needed.

Men With Sticks captain ViCiieux will be suspended the opening 2 games of the tournament after first receiving a warning due to personal attacks on the TGMA team, and responding to the warning with childish behaviour and attempts to provoke turned the warning into a 2 game suspension. Any further issues caused by the player will be dealt with by increased suspension time. Failure to comply with the suspension will result in a full tournament ban.
We expect all players to behave like adults and treat fellow community members with respect.

We apologize for being late with the disciplinary issues, and because of being late with it we have severly reduced the penalties and let the lighter ones off the hook.
Player BulldogMike123, captain of Red Light Zone will be suspended for the first 8 games of the tournament for disqualifying during the playoffs.
Also, the following players will be suspended for the first 2 games of the tournament for disqualifying during the group stage:
Balkongen (Mullsjö City), Gsson999 (Norrlands Guld), Jifi23 (CSSR Team), Mr Magic x 1 (NHL Naturell), Strom147 (Toy Story)
Though any player in a leading position on either of these clubs during EHL 2013 that end up yet again in a captain or assistant role on a disqualified team will be concidered a repeat offender.
Mameluck88, Jaapero and Ruottiz, acting captains of Capital Punishment at the time, are suspended from participating in Consolehockey Network events indefinitely due to knowingly playing two series in EHL 2013 with an unregistered player. After European Cup 2013 has concluded, all players are free to appeal their ban at any given time by contacting TGMA.

Congratulation to our new EHL champs Woodhands!!! They were the best in regular season as well as in playoff. They won their group, the regulars and after that eliminated one by one all the teams they met in playoff. Woodhands needed only 4 games against very dangeroes Face Wash Hockey in the final. They are defenetly the best team!!!

Northern Stars keep their streak going, having won every single Consolehockey Network tournament they have entered up to this date. Facing a tough opponent in Power of Finland, most people expected a tight series but doing what they do best, NOS kept claiming the W when the games got close and eventually ended up victors by 4-0 in a series than only saw 8 goals scored by both teams combined.
Congratulations to NOS for another amazing tournament, hats off to Power of Finland for reaching the finals and completing the series, acting with great class even after having their captain suspended in the finals and thank you to all teams that have participated in and completed the tournament.

Power of Finland’s captain sumppi90 will hereby be suspended for the next two games in the current playoffs. In addition, PoF is also receiving a warning that any further similiar problems caused by the team will result in a WO loss.
We have been presented evidence that both teams had agreed to play 3 games on the first game day on PoF’s initiative, starting at 18.45 GMT. For the first game, Power of Finland showed up 20 minutes late and after going down 0-2 in the series one team member had an IRL situation to deal with and another player went offline in the belief that no more games would be played due to this.
The team was informed they are required to play if a deal was in place, and as a result they did show up ready to go 40 minutes after the end of the 2nd game, after Northern Stars had a team player leave, requesting that NOS use one of their reserve players.
While problematic situations may arise, this could have been handled very differently from PoF’s point of view. From the start of the tournament, TGMA has been stressing the importance of communication. PoF did not contact NOS about being late for the first game or that they wished to re-schedule the 3rd game, they just did it assuming it was okay. In addition, PoF had a reserve player online on PS3 that was not used when the problem appeared. These issues all fall under the captains responsibility. He is required to make sure NOS know they are late, he is required to communicate with his opponent if he wants or need to make any changes to the current deal between the teams and he is also required to communicate within his own team. In this case we feel he could have contacted his reserve player as well as the player that went offline and get both ready to play within a time frame that would have been acceptable to their opponents. Since Northern Stars was ready to go all along and even took exception to extend the time they could spare to get the games played, we see no reason at all they should have been required to bring in a reserve player to get a game played nearly 30 minutes after the maximum time between games, as stated in the rules, had passed.
The warning handed out to the team is because of unsportsmanlike behaviour. Partially because of the problems stated above with mishandling a game situation, and partially due to displaying bad behaviour in the chatbox and resorting to name calling and insulting fellow community members and TGMA.

The playoffs officially start on wednesday 28th november, and the teams have a one week deadline for completing the series (so deadline for first round is wednesday december 5th). So no firm game dates that can’t be moved at this stage. After the first round, the matchup will be decided by points average.
On a sad note, three teams disqualified in the last round of games: NHL Naturell, Norrlands Guld and Toy Story. As each team has played more than 50% of their games, all results will stand. While Toy Story only had four WO-losses, they all came in a row to end the tournament as they only had an extremely slim chance to reach the playoffs and pajenc left the team. Not playing the final stretch due to none or slim playoff hopes is a problem TGMA takes very seriously and want to discourage, and we applaud all teams with the character to battle adversity to the end. As the group stage is over and none of the teams reached the playoff, no direct action will be taken towards the current members of the teams, but all cases will be reviewed for future suspensions that will be announced after the playoffs have ended and we sadly have to suspend pajenc from playing with Sjukstugan during the playoffs. We will also investigate what happened to Voodoo People in the last round.

 From the first to the fourth of January 2013 the connoisseurs of the computer game «NHL13» will gather in Ufa. They will come from Russia, Belorussia, Canada, the USA, Sweden, Finland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and a number of other European countries to compete face-to-face for the title of the best cybersportsman.
The tournament will take place simultaneously with IIHF Junior worl
d championship (IIHF ЧМ U-20) sponsored by The Administration of the President of the Bashkortostan Republic and companies “Microsoft Rus” and “EA Sports” (Canada).
The “virtual” hockey cup is going to be a decoration to the “real” hockey and it will give a special coloration to the forum of the best hockey-players in the capital of Bashkortostan.
Time-limit (reference to the Time-limit) foresees two stages:
• Preliminary stage (January 1-3) is organized on one of Junior world championship rinks IIHF ЧМ U20, in Ufa Sport Hall (41 Zorge Street)
• Final stage (January 4) is organized in entertaining complex “Ogni Ufy” (19, 50 Let October Street)
The final stage is organized in the form of a big sports show with a great amount of spectators and specially invited guests. Among them are The President IIHF Rene Fazel and The President of Russian Hockey Federation Vladislav Tretyak, and many other significant members of “big” hockey. This event including the matches of half-finals, the final game and demonstrative contest between Russian and Canadian teams (in honour of 40-year jubilee of “Supersession”, 1972). It shall be transmitted by BST channel and in the internet.
The prize fund of the tournament is 300 000 rubles (approximately 10 000 Canadian dollars) and is distributed in the following way:
1 rank – 150 000 rubles
2 rank – 100 000 rubles
3 rank – 25 000 rubles
4 rank – 25 000 rubles
The entry payment is not foreseen.
Transport and accommodation is paid by participants. The World cup organizational committee can provide help in search of a permanent accommodation.
Extra options are possible:
Survey excursions around the city (free of charge)
A New Year party in the entertaining complex “Ogni Ufy” (from the night of the 31st of December to the 1st of January) (for an extra payment)
Help in acquisition of tickets for The hockey World championship matches IIHF U20 (December 26 - January 5).
For foreign guests a free of charge subscription for matches of group stage IIHF U20 of the The hockey World championship when their teams will play is possible. Also for foreign guests’ comfort the presence of English-speaking personnel is foreseen.

Last day of player transactions for the EHL tournament has been set for friday 23rd november. TGMA will reject any transfer that has not been accepted by both parties before 23.59 GMT.
In addition, after handing their opponents another set of WO-wins, we have decided to disqualify Mullsjö City from the rest of the tournament. Since they have played more than 50% of their games, all existing results will stand and FHR Punakone and Norrlands Guld have each been awarded wins in the series versus Mullsjö City that has yet to be played and the following players are suspended for the rest of the tournament:

Due to playing with 2 unregistered players, the results in Capital Punishments games versus Norrlands Guld and FHR Punakone has been overturned to WO-wins in favour of NG and FHR.
Capital Punishment has also asked to be removed from the tournament after this event and thus, the following players will be banned from participating in the rest of the tournament:
While CP had technically played more than 50% of their games, due to the unregistered players 4 of those will not count towards the total, placing them below the 50% mark and all games and results will be deleted.

We once again stress this to all teams: COMMUNICATE!
If you have problems finding enough players as a game deadline approaches we recommend these two options before just giving your opponent WO-wins.
- Find a replacement player in dropin. There are plenty of free agents, and while the quality might not always be of the highest standard, there are plenty of free agents around and even the worst give you a better chance of gaining at least one point more than two WO-losses ever will.
- Contact TGMA for help, either to help you find a replacement or to quickly get one registered. We have managed to do both successfully in the past.
And as we are sure many people have noticed, the previous TGMA announcement sparked quite a discussion and there are a few things that needs to be stated in that matter:
- Please stick to english when commenting. This is not a swedish community.
- Players mordarelefanten, ma0niii and bjonoooo will receive an infraction for inappropriate comments. While many may argue many posts were abusive, after reviewing the entire thread we concluded punches were thrown both ways from the start. Any further infractions during the course of the tournament by these players will result in a 2-game suspension. If the involved players have any questions regarding the specific posts in question, please contact TGMA for clarification.
- If you are born in Sweden, please note that this is still not a swedish community. Comment in english.
- It is a very long thread. If you feel TGMA has forgotten an infraction worthy comment, please contact us and point us to it for review.
- English is taught in swedish schools from age 9. Please put that nearly life long education to work while commenting.
We would also like to advice all members to restrict themselves from unnecessary insults. We love seeing an active discussion, but please avoid turning to personal attacks.

Laurilion, currently playing with Company of Geeks, will not be suspended since he was deemed not being part of the reason of the teams collapse, but rather showed loyalty and ambition to help the team when in trouble. Jifi23 is also noted to have tried hard to resolve the situation working with TGMA, but due to the rules we have to suspend him as well as the GM of the team.
Also, we have noted that Capital Punishment have been very slow with reporting their game results. The rules give each time 24 hours to submit their reports or they will be punished with point deductions, and CP has failed to do on several occasions already.
TGMA has decided to give CP the rest of the day to submit the missing results, and if they are not we will deduct 1 point after midnight.
If CP is late with any future game reports, 1 point will be deducted each day for the duration of the delay and no warning will be issued before doing so.

Team Extraordinary Gentlemans received 1 penalty point for systematic errors at results (no fill S/PM/H). And in future will get 1 penalty points for each pair of games if it will be continue.

While TGMA has previously decided to award WO-wins to Capital Punishment in their games to Russian Rockets DTM due to a misunderstanding about the game time related to the switch to winter time in Sweden and Finland that caused RR to arrive an hour late, resulting in Capital Punishment not being able to play.
What is unfortuenate in this situation is that this is partially TGMA’s fault due to not being observant enough to notify our programmer about the issue so he could update the time settings, we have decided to allow the games to be re-scheduled, thus removing the WO-wins from Capital Punishment. While we have previously argued that it is also the captains responsibility to keep updated with the default gaming time, it did cause several misunderstandings for different teams, among those Sjukstugan and HC Meteor, and we must take responsibility for that.
Note though that this is an exception to the rules, a result of an unfortuenate event and it is still not allowed to move your deadlines forward.

Laser HT is hereby receiving an official warning from TGMA after having a player disconnected versus Birka Vikings, and replacing him with another player as the teams quit and reconnected to keep playing the game 6vs6. Any similiar occurenses like this during the course of the tournament will be penalized with an instant point deduction, and this goes for all teams, not just Laser HT.Teams are responsible for icing a lineup with a good connection quality and are not allowed to switch a player mid-game in the event of a disconnect.

EHL 2013 is about to kick off with the first games scheduled for wednesday 24th october.
We have spent some time tweaking the existing set of rules and strongly encourage all teams to read through everything, but in particular there are two major changes we feel the need to highlight on the main page:
This tournament is introducing fixed match dates, meaning that you can not push back games. Teams are allowed to play before the set date, but you can no longer change the date to a later one. If you have problems reaching teams, please document your attempts to contact your opponents captains and report to TGMA for review or each team will be awarded a WO-win but have 3 points deducted, which means no team have anything to gain by not playing. Note though, that TGMA will allow some flexibility in this matter for the first two game days of the tournament if requested.
Secondly, since EA Sports goalie AI programmers has drawn a lot of inspiration from Spiderman for this years edition of NHL, we have adapted the following DNF rule concerning goalies:
- If a goaltender is disconnected, that period has to be re-played with the current score standing, including goals scored in the period up until the disconnect. All players disconnect from the game, except for each teams captain who stay to record the statistics. When the statistics have been recorded, both teams then proceed with a new game where the 1st period counts as the period the disconnect happened. As a total of 3 periods have been played, plus eventual OT, the teams again disconnect while the captains record stats and add them together with their previous records before submitting the official game report.
For skaters, the previous set of rules still apply but teams may mutually agree to use this rule in case of a skater gets disconnected as well. We recommend all team captains to discuss this with your opposition before you send the invite to your first game to avoid flame wars after the games.
For the playoffs, teams 1-4 in Group A will be matched up with team 5-8 in Group B in the first round. The matchups in the following rounds will be determined by points average.

- The pre-tournament is cancelled. All registered teams will go directly to the EHL-tournament starting October 22.
- Team registration has been re-opened since we will need additional time to deal with distributing Pulvers workload among us and get up to pace.
We are also looking into our options for the live draw.

EHL 2012 registration has now closed and we have 28 teams ready to play in this year EHL!
These are the teams that will play the EHL pre-qualification called "EHL - Stage 1":

There will be two groups, Group A with 5 teams and Group B with 6 teams. Every team play home and away against the other teams in the group. To qualify for this years EHL you need to be top 3 in Group A or top 4 in Group B.
Groups will be announced on Sunday!
The rules will be finalized tomorrow (sunday). First game day will be wednesday on october 10.
EHL will consist of 24 teams divided into two groups. The regular season will be 22 games long and the playoffs will be best of 7. Eight teams from each group qualify for the playoffs.
Many teams are worried that lag will destroy this years EHL. This will not be the case, TGMA hopes. TGMA is aware of the lag issue right now and unfortunately EHL - Stage 1 will suffer from lag. We hope that EA will fix the lag issue before the main tournament starts at October 22nd. If the lag issue is not fixed by then, EHL will be post-poned!

NHL 13 is only a few days away and it is time for a new EHL tournament! TGMA will continue to find ways to improve the Xbox tournament experience for all teams, there will be a few significant changes this season.
It is important to know that TGMA is only responsible for the Xbox community and Xbox tournaments. The Russian administration is responsible for the PS3 community.
EHL schedule for the Xbox Community:
1) EHL registration will start on september 24 and close on October 6.
2) EHL - Stage 1, October 8 - October 19.
3) EHL - Live Draw, October 20 at 20:00 CET.
4) EHL - Regular season, October 22 - November 25.
5) EHL - Playoffs, November 26 - December 19.
Significant changes to the rules on Xbox this year:
- Default time is now set to CET (Central European Time).
- No changes allowed to scheduled games. (Still not decided).
- Shorter regular season.
- A minimum of 10 unique players in the roster.
- Gameplay rules will be finalized on October 21.
- Some teams will receive a "bye" at Stage 1 of the EHL tournament.
After Christmas, there is a chance that Xbox will do what PS3 plans to do - start up a "Dynasty League" where only the most elite clubs can participate.

The new administration of console hockey greets all those who are interested in playing hockey games.
Since we have to face permanent changes in our lives, it is time for our site to evolve and become a more distinctive authority. “The top of the iceberg” is now under control by Nikolay Lapenok aka “Klaus” and Anton Vinogradov aka “toomanyfaces”, who are welcomed to be the new admins of our community.
From this moment on all the Russian and Versus tournaments will be allocated to a different site, whereas “consolehockey.net” will become entirely European, focusing mainly on teamplay tournaments.
The first EHL tournament will be supported by our site in its current appearance. We intend to change it distinctively by the end of the year, thus providing you with a new and more remarkable site. All the past statistics and comments will remain on our site with more additional aspects to be included.
